Highly recommend.

I want to rant a minute about female OCs. I see so many slutty OCs it's like walking into a technicolor strip club.

COME ON PEOPLE.

Women have boobs. Yes. This is a fact. They also have butts. It's God's way of saying crap comes out somewhere.

But news flash: men also have nipples, and yes, they have butts. They tend to itch them.

Men and women are different creatures, yes, but they're both human. So why is it so popular to treat women, especially in art, as sex symbols, rather than humans? Why is it impossibly small waists, unrealistically large chests, and wildly shiny butts are considered attractive?

They aren't. They're ridiculous. They're downright silly. Nobody with the body frame of a pencil could hold up boobs the size of blue-ribbon watermelons. Creating a character that's unrealistic but fulfills your sexual fantasies or gets you attention is not an original character, it's a cheap move.

If you made a male OC with crazy big man parts that he keeps his pants undone to tease women with you'd have a cheap move on your hands. If you put him in a thong and slapped grease on his bum to make it shine you'd have a cheap move on your hands. If you put him in a women's G-string and made him bend himself in half, you would have a very cheap move on your hands.

So why should it be different when you do all that with a female OC? Quick tip: It's not.

Stop creating pole dancers and start creating original female characters. But most of all, create human beings.

Happy 50th birthday to Doctor Who, and congratulations to the amazing men who play the Doctor's different faces and the fantastic writers without whom this BRILLIANT series would have died years ago. My father and I are SO HAPPY this series has made it this far.

We had to correct a mock magazine article about jazz. At one point in the article, it talked about a band named after Harry Potter, and it mentioned how cool it was when Ron Weasely got up to scat. I thought "Gingers can't play jazz, they don't have soul!" And I laughed and laughed and laughed to myself because someone needs to date me.
